An e-map based air quality reporting system was developed with MapX and VB in order to intuitively report the quality of air. This system consists of purity gas analyzer, communication network and monitoring center. The system can display the quality level of any polluted area and the air composition of any location. Pollution consistency is computed with Gaussian model for the point spread and differential algorithm. The system provides other functions, such as location composition query, region composition query. Experiment results show that the system can meet the requirements of air quality monitoring. 
